hastings on hudson, ny for an art collector with great concern for detail, mka studio designed a new and unique entry, cook’s kitchen and library/study. the colorful double height composition of the entrance celebrates the owner’s passion for modern art. electric frosted glass was used to provide either privacy or openness at the flick of a switch. the door locking is activated by a thumb reader, integrated into a thin modern mahogany frame.
